I'm the type of person who lives life holding onto principles, and the type of person who would likely to encourage others to take up new challenges, making up new habits, and to change. I think everyone needs to change from time to time. Don't you agree? There is no one who is too smart or perfect to stop learning and keep on improving. There's always room for improvements.
And as to what I think, our habits make us who we are in our life. It affects us in our subconscious mind which leads further to shape our own personality and character. We never know or aware of our own good or bad habits until someone point it out to us, or when we think back of ourselves, of our frequent actions, of things that we did usually, of words that we said to others, of how do we handle our emotion when we got irritated, of how we solve problems, of how we communicate with others usually, and so on.
I'm suppose all these can be called as "self-examination", and we should do it occasionally or at least 10-20 minutes a day. Sounds funny? Don't be. Just sit back and think, what else can I do better? Don't examine yourself with your own judgement, pretend that you are someone else who expect you to do better. Like this it could be done without self-bias and we'll be always looking for room of improvements.
I usually do it before I sleep while lying on my bed, or while I'm driving alone sometimes. By doing this, it helps to improve ourselves easily, as long as we are aware of our daily habits, which is good and which is bad, which that we need to change and improve, and which that we should maintain. Through all these, we will definitely know where we are heading in our days, making up a path and see our way towards our goals and dreams clearly, and everyday, we make one step further, nearer towards our success.
I won't be a person without a great success in my life, I said to myself. Maybe it sounds like I'm a self-centered person sometimes about my own achievements. But honestly, we human beings, are all selfish in a way or another. But do you ever wonder why we are all selfish? What is the cause that this is the way we are? And why? Because of what? I will think more on how to explain about this later on..
Go back talking about success, no one is planning to fail in this world right? Yeah, you are damn right. But for most people, they forgot to plan for their success or to pursue their dreams and goals of their life, they'd forgotten about their teenage's ambitions when they start to live on with a new working life, earning for their own living everyday, busy with headaches most of the time, and wait for their fees to be paid every end of the months.
What are they so busy for? Money for surviving? Or long term financial freedom in future? Well, everyone makes mistake in this world, but not everyone is aware of their own mistakes until they are facing serious problems. Which is something unlikely to happen on all small or little mistakes that we do. Only those who does aware of, will avoid repeating the same mistakes and improved by doing things in different way the next time around.
We all should be better informed that we won't live long enough to make all mistakes ours, and in fact, seriously we need to learn from mistakes of others as well. And if we only learn from our own mistakes, we will never be able to avoid mistakes like when we learn from others. In my mind, if we failed to plan, we are planning to fail, and as I know that nobody is planning to fail in this world, but they failed to plan for their future's well-being and success. Many smart people failed to achieve success in whatever they do is not because of they are not smart enough, it is just because of their attitude and habits.
Some people is too smart and having too much ideas, therefore, they tend to be lazier than those working like nerdies, but eventually, most often than not, disciplined-nerdies can do better than those lazy-smarties. Sounds funny? It is true. Smart or not is not the most important element, attitude is.
That's too much for this one. I better stop here. I better use my time to rest and focus on my work tomorrow.
